JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, on-site role for a welder. The welder will be responsible for performing MIG welding on various materials. The welder will work under the supervision of the production manager and be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products.

QUALIFICATIONS

MIG welding skills
Ability to work with a variety of materials.
Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in welding preferred, but not required.
Additional qualifications and skills in blueprint reading, metal fabrication and welding inspection would be beneficial, but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand, bend, and twist, as well as hands that are able to grip, twist, and bend to operate controls.
Occasionally required to walk, stoop, pull objects, kneel, and climb stairs.
Occasionally required to reach high and low, as well as lift weights from 10-75 lbs.

EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of welding/fabrication preferred.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, including welding diagrams and symbols.
Ability to use hand tools.
