Welder

Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team specializing in the production of cattle feeders, agriculture equipment and replacement parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. This role involves working with various metals and welding techniques to produce high-quality agriculture equipment and replacement parts that meet our standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components to create cattle feeders, agriculture equipment and replacement parts.
  • Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues as they arise.
  • Ensure the quality of all products under the supervision of the production manager.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work with a variety of materials.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • While not required, additional skills in metal fabrication and welding inspection would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years of welding/fabrication experience (Preferred but not necessary; we are willing to train).
  • Welding certification (Preferred but not required).
