History
Post Equipment Corp. began with Mike Post rebuilding a few feeder wagons in his spare time on his 100-cow dairy farm. As it grew to selling 100 rebuilt feeder wagons a year, repeat customers started asking for new wagons. Post Equipment Corp. was officially born in 2008 as it moved to its current location just outside of Rock Valley, IA. When the location for Post Equipment was bought, so was the metal recycling business which is known today as Post Metal Recycling. In 2015, Post Equipment added a manufacturing facility initially named Ironwood 53 and rebranded to Post Manufacturing in 2024. Today, all three companies are located on the same campus on the outskirts of Rock Valley, IA.
