Product Returns

If your product arrives damaged or if there is a shortage:
If you receive a damaged package, please have the driver make note of the damage. Please contact Post Equipment Corporation immediately to file a damage claim. Post Equipment Corporation is responsible for filing damage claims with the carrier.

Package Shipments
If damage by carrier or concealed damage is detected, please call Post Equipment Corporation immediately to report and start a claim. Please retain any cartons, packages or related data until inspection has been made by the carrier. Post Equipment Corporation is responsible for filing damage claims with the carrier.
Post Equipment Corporation will notify you as to the disposition of the damaged merchandise. Whenever possible, please reuse the original shipping and package materials from the product you received.

Truck Freight Shipments
The customer is responsible for carefully examining all shipments before signing a bill of lading or delivery sheet. The customer must note all damage and shortages when signing. If the customer detects any damage or shortage in the shipment, the damage or shortage must be recorded on the bill of lading or the delivery sheet and the carrier’s driver must sign and acknowledge this record. The customer must retain a copy of the signed bill of lading or delivery sheet and call Post Equipment Corporation at 712-476-4500 immediately to start the claim process. Please DO NOT refuse shipment. This will only delay your receipt of credit or replacement of damaged good.

All returns require preauthorization and must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Approval (RMA) form. RMA forms can be found here.

  • Product must be returned within 30 days from the date of invoice for a full refund or credit.
  • RMA form must be included in your return package. Merchandise returned without an RMA included will be subject to a 15% restock fee or no credit.
  • Product must be new condition, except in the case where merchandise is defective or damaged in shipment. Credit will be issued based on inspection of the returned merchandise.
  • Product determined not to be in new condition will be assessed an additional fee based on the merchandise condition.

The customer assumes liability for freight when returning merchandise ordered in error. Returned merchandise must be shipped with all transportation charges prepaid. Merchandise returned C.O.D will be refused. Post Equipment will issue call tags for defective merchandise or merchandise shipped in error.

What are your restocking fees?
The customer has 30 days from the date of invoice to return merchandise for a full refund or credit. After 30 days from the date of invoice, the minimum restocking fee will be applied as follows:

  • Within 1 year: 15% restocking charge
  • After 1 year: 50% restocking charge
  • Discounted or discontinued items returned after 1 year: Not returnable
  • After 2 years: Not returnable

Can I return a special-ordered item?
All special orders are non-cancelable, non-returnable.

What are the warranties on merchandise?
All Post Equipment Corporation products come standard with a 1-year warranty against defects and flaws in workmanship. Some exclusions may apply. In the case of workmanship flaws, the product will be replaced at no cost. Warranty for specified items will follow the manufacturer’s/supplier’s warranties for workmanship and material.
