Production Scheduler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized individual to join our manufacturing team as a Production Scheduler. This role will primarily focus on assisting with: scheduling, job order creation, delivering job orders to the shop floor, outside process order creation and tracking, shipping and receiving paperwork, and verifying data. The Production Scheduler will work directly with the Production and Manufacturing Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Create, print, maintain, and verify job orders, BOM updates, and outside process orders.
  • Assist in creating and updating production schedules.
  • Track inventory levels to ensure materials are available to meet job requirements.
  • Create and release stock orders through ERP system.
  • Monitor production progress and report any deviations from the schedule.
  • Ensure timely communication of schedule changes to relevant departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Solid communication skills
  • Manufacturing knowledge
