Press Operator

DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Press Operator. The Press Operator is responsible for flight forming various materials. This person will work under the supervision of the production manager and be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with operating break presses would be a plus.
  • Additional qualifications and skills in blueprint reading, metal fabrication and welding inspection would be beneficial, but not required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, including welding diagrams and symbols.
  • Ability to use hand tools.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to stand, bend and twist as well as hands that are able to grip, twist and bend to operate controls.
  • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, pull objects, kneel and climb stairs.
  • Occasionally required to reach high and low as well as lift weights from 10-75 lbs.
