DESCRIPTION
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives ensuring compliance with employment. Process payroll for all divisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule/conduct interviews with job applicants.
- Conduct benefit enrollment for new employees and be the point of contact for employees who have questions regarding their insurance/benefits
- Perform annual reviews of benefit options for the company
- Perform all aspects of payroll processing for all divisions.
- Ensure compliance with laws and tax obligations.
- Maintain accurate and complete payroll records.
- Conduct employee training, development, and orientation programs as needed.
- Schedule employee drug screens, and other post-offer, pre-employment items as needed.
- Work with the Marketing Director to post help-wanted ads.
- Respond to social media job inquiries regarding jobs.
- Create job descriptions for open positions.
- Partner with internal and external local organizations and external contacts (community colleges, vendors, etc.) on efforts related to recruitment, employee development, and training efforts.
- Research/follow up on government grants and programs as needed.
- Complete/file work comp injury paperwork as needed.
- Conduct safety training and reporting.
- Provide legal and regulatory expertise as it pertains.
- Provide authoritative advice and technical guidance to management at all levels.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Assist in coordinating company events (staff meetings, end of year parties, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS
This position is a great fit for you if you:
- Have 2+ years of related experience OR an associate degree in a related program.
- Can use computer programs as needed to complete your work.
