Job Description
Performs maintenance and service work on a wide variety of equipment, including diesel trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring that it is in safe working condition.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all routine maintenance on equipment for all divisions.
- Troubleshoots to diagnose problems; repairs and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Looks into service requests for repairs and maintenance to determine the nature of the problem and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Undertakes the sourcing and ordering of required parts, supplies, and services.
- Completes DOT inspections on vehicles for all divisions.
- Performs accurate documentation of repairs and service work on each vehicle.
- Updates and reviews daily maintenance logs.
- Operates all tools necessary to properly repair equipment.
- Safely operates forklifts, man-lifts, and equipment, adhering to safety standards.
- Assists in maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assists in the scrapyard as needed.
